Clivia was created out of frustration with how medical study resources are built — cluttered, expensive, and designed like they don't trust you to learn.

The story

Why I built this platform.

My name is Corentin. I'm a medical student, and like most of you, I spent a lot of time jumping between textbooks, YouTube videos, expensive question banks, and Anki decks — none of which felt like they were actually designed for how we study.

The best resources were either too expensive, too disorganised, or buried behind paywalls that assumed students had a doctor's salary. The free ones were cluttered with ads or so poorly structured that finding anything felt like revision in itself.

So I decided to build what I actually wanted: a clean, structured, fast study platform — organised the way medicine actually works, with notes that look like clinical references, quizzes that explain why wrong answers are wrong, and courses that follow a real curriculum.

Clivia is free to start, always. The premium tier exists to keep the platform running and improving — not to lock you out of the basics.

Clarity over quantity
Every note is capped at 500 words. Every explanation is written to be understood the first time. We don't pad content to look comprehensive — we cut until it's useful.

Free by default
The core of Clivia will always be free. Notes, a selection of quizzes, and study tools are available without a credit card. Premium exists to go deeper — not to gatekeep the basics.

Built by someone who uses it
Every piece of content is written by a medical student actively preparing for exams. If it doesn't help in real revision, it doesn't go on the platform.
